Solar Microfilm is a Kent (England) based company which started in the microfilm business more than twenty-five years ago. Solar is now well known, particularly, in the library and archive market and actively exports equipment all over the world.

John Beckingham with his design engineering background has always kept abreast of the market and is now at the leading edge of large format digital scanning technology.

New products include the CopyMaster an A2 colour book scanner and the Universal a multi format microfilm reader-scanner.
