The Alberta Genealogical Society held its annual Conference at The Chateau Louis in Edmonton on Saturday April 18 and Sunday April 19. It was well attended with a wide range of seminars held on a wide range of topics along with various exhibitors. It was our first time attending this conference and our products, the ALOS Z-46 Microform Scanner and Solar Copymaster book scanner were well received.

The Copymaster Book scanner generated a lot of interest in its abilities with its 'Face Up' scanning ability. Demonstrations of scanning books, newspapers and the ever popular 'mints' were shown. We had the opportunity to do some sample scans of many items including a couple large Family Tree charts, a framed photo as well as a very rare book that dated back to 1703 !
