Alberta Library Conference 2011 - Open Doors, Open Minds, Open Access
The Alberta library community plays a critical role in supporting innovation, learning, creativity and creation of knowledge. Libraries are part of the infrastructure and an enabler of the “open” movement, in all its forms. Libraries and Library Boards are excited about the great success of Alberta libraries! ALC is a time to celebrate our successes and generate excitement and vision for the future.

ALC 2010 will take place from April 28 to May 1, 2010 in Jasper, Alberta. The conference is held at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper, Alberta (approximately 374 km west of Edmonton, 410 km west of Calgary). The Alberta Library Conference (ALC) is the premier annual conference hosted by Library Association of Alberta (LAA) & Alberta Library Trustees Association (ALTA).

The conference is attended by library staff, library trustees, and library school students. ALC is held in the beautiful location of Jasper, Alberta, in the Canadian Rockies.
